Bug-B-Gone
Brand Design & Print Production

Project Overview
In this project, I was assigned the pest control market and a preset brand color palette, then challenged to create a full brand identity and packaging system from the ground up. I developed Bub-B-Gone, a bold, market-ready brand with a complete set of print deliverables, including promotional stickers, functional labels, structural packaging, and a specialty print piece. Each component was refined through peer critique and produced using a combination of flexographic and digital printing methods.
Objectives
-
Develop a cohesive brand identity tailored to the pest control market
-
Design multiple packaging formats that reflect industry standards and consumer expectations
-
Apply brand visuals across both promotional and functional pieces
-
Execute all designs using flexographic and digital printing processes
-
Incorporate peer feedback to refine design decisions throughout each stage of the project

What I Did
-
Created the Bub-B-Gone logo, refined through multiple rounds of peer feedback
-
Designed promotional stickers intended for flexographic printing
-
Developed a functional label for an aerosol insect repellant can, also formatted for flexo production
-
Designed paperboard packaging for roach traps, printed digitally
-
Produced a specialty print piece: a mosquito-repellant candle featuring digitally printed labels and a digitally printed logo on the candle lid
